About Marty

Marty doesn't want you to sound like anyone else. He wants you to sound like the best version of you.

That philosophy comes from a working musician's perspective. Marty has been writing songs for 22 years and has built his career as a paid working musician for the last 15, with placements on NFL broadcasts, major network television, and international radio. He currently serves as Music Director at a Nashville-area church, where he leads teams through the real demands of multi-service Sundays.

His academic credentials are Nashville-tier serious: a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music & Vocal Performance from Cornerstone University and a Master of Music in Commercial Music & Vocal Performance from Belmont University. On top of that, he's an Associate Faculty member of Somatic Voicework: The LoVetri Method™, one of the most respected pedagogical frameworks in the industry.

But what students actually talk about isn't the degrees. It's the way lessons feel. Marty is enthusiastic, empathetic, and willing to make every weird sound right alongside you. No one looks the fool alone in his studio. That warmth, combined with real technical depth, is why his students keep coming back, and why their voices keep getting better.
